When failed air suspension can be surprising effects beyond what happens with a suspension system of ordinary coil spring. Because these systems can adjust the suspension to three different heights ride another computer control system is required. Air cushion or air support failure is usually caused by wet rot, due to advanced age, or moisture within the air system that damages it from within. Components of air ride suspension may fail because rubber dries out. The drillings for air bag can be caused by debris on the road.
Air line failure is a failure of the pipe that connects the air bags or struts to the rest of the system air. This usually occurs when the airlines, which must be routed to the bags of air through the chassis of the vehicle, rubbing against a sharp edge, a member of the Cabinet or a suspension component moving, causing a hole to be formed.
Compressor failure is primarily due to leaking air springs or air struts. Note: to date, this is the default that saw most often with lemon cars.
